Due to the disruption brought by the pandemic, the Lisbon Winter School for the Study of Communication will not convene in January 2021. Check our webite later this year for updates regarding the 3rd edition.

The Lisbon Winter School takes a comparative and global approach to central and emerging topics in the study of media and communication. It is  jointly organized by the Faculty of Human Sciences (Universidade Católica Portuguesa), the Center for Media@Risk at the Annenberg School for Communication (University of Pennsylvania), the School of Journalism and Communication (Chinese University of Hong Kong), the Department of Media and Communications (London School of Economics and Political Science) and the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of Helsinki).
